Model 3115 Visual Fault Locator
Used for fault location and fiber identification of single-mode or multi-mode fibers. It features a compact, rugged design and versatile universal connector port. The Model 3115 visual fault locator easily identifies cuts, micro-bending and macro-bending of the optical fiber, by passing light through the jacket fiber at the point of fault, and is useful in performing end-to-end fiber identification. Its useful range is up to 5km. It is an ideal tool for the examination of all kinds of patch cords, ribbon or pigtails bundles, in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks.
Features:
- Detects breaks, micro-bends, macrobends, even through jacketed fibers.
- End-to-end visual fiber identification.
- Locates faults up to 5km along the fiber.
