FIC Field Installable Connectors easily field install in less then 1 minute, without the use of epoxy, polishing, or specialized tools and tool kits. Included with each connector, is everything required to terminate buffered cable. Termination of 250um and 900um buffered fiber, requires the use of a general purpose fiber cleaver. While 2.0mm, 2.4mm and 3mm terminations additionally require the use of a crimper with a common fiber crimp sizes. Available in SC and LC connector styles.

The resultant connections are reliable, with superior performance. Cable Tensile test complies with Telcordia GR-326-CORE.
